Sticky Doors: Do the windows and doors operate smoothly? Sticky door and window jams can be an early indicator of more serious structural problems with the house.

Diagonal Cracks: Hairline cracks are common but anything more than that should be checked out. A straight vertical crack is insignificant while diagonal ones indicate that there may be structural issues.

Puddles near the Foundation: This problem is most probably caused by inadequate landscape grading that could lead to flooding in the basement. Check out the home after a rainfall? Are there puddles against the home’s foundation?
