Q: What are your favourite animals?
A: I love all animals (with the exception of frogs)! At home we have a fluffy cat named Sully and recently noticed that we’ve inadvertently decorated our home to match his colouring. He has beautiful green eyes, long brown tabby coloured fur with white socks, and white cheeks. He is a handsome furry dude.
Q: Where is your favourite spot in Hamilton?
A: There are so many great spots in Hamilton but Gage Park is my favourite. I love the greenhouse, the paths, and rose garden. In the warmer months we are there most evenings and weekends, and never miss a festival.
Q: Where is your favourite spot in Niagara?
A: I love the various beaches that dot the shores of Lake Erie because they are all so different. My favourite town is Niagara-on-the-Lake because of the history, the homes, and of course the wineries. My husband and I got married in the gazebo by the lake, and it holds very special memories for me.
Q: Why did you choose to make a career change and go into Real Estate
A: From a young age, my Mom and I would spend our Sunday afternoons going to Open Houses in and around the Niagara Region. Then when I lived in Toronto and Vancouver, those hot markets really piqued my interest. Now, after experiencing the past decade in Hamilton, given it’s thriving real estate environment, I’m officially hooked!! As I approached turning 40, I made the decision to take the plunge into Real Estate and am elated to have this opportunity to provide clients with exceptional service, and grow in my career with the Golfi team.
Q: What other certifications or specialties do you have?
A: I have been specially trained in working with Aboriginal, Immigrant, and Refugee populations. As well, I have extensive experience navigating both the health and social care systems. This includes an in-depth and first-hand knowledge of transitioning into Retirement Homes and Long-Term Care. My goal is to obtain my SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) certification in 2020.
