Bark Madness Contest Winners: Fast Freddy & Dash

Golfi Dog Contest 2021 - Winners

This year’s Bark Madness Contest was unbelievably successful. With almost 800 entries, The Golfi Team had an extremely hard time narrowing it down to  just two winners. “It is so much fun seeing all the cute pictures of everyone’s dogs being shared with us” says Rob Golfi, Team Leader, RE/MAX The Golfi Team. Certainly, the response was overwhelming, “the involvement from the community is truly great to see” says Golfi. In other words, RE/MAX Escarpment Golfi Realty Inc., is grateful for everyone’s participation.

Our first place winner is Fast Freddy. Fast Freddy is a Coconut Hound Mix from Dominican Republic, adopted by Kara Spear. Most importantly, before the borders were closing, Freddy was able to hop on the last flight to Canada in March 2020. Believe it or not, Freddy went from fending for himself in a cow field all alone, starving, and in pain for three months, to living his best life in Canada. Now, like the prince he truly is, Fast Freddy’s family spoils him and love hims unconditionally.

The second winner of the 2021 Bark Madness Contest is Dash, an Australian Labradoodle. Owner Sarah Atkinson, describes Dash as a big ball of energy. Dash loves going to the splash-pad to run through the water on a hot day, for instance. Afterwards, Dash enjoys chasing bunnies around the neighbourhood to try and get them to play with him. What really sets Dash aside is that he is a Leaf’s fan…by choice.

On behalf of RE/MAX Escarpment Golfi Realty Inc., we would like to thank everyone who participated in this years Bark Madness Contest. The Golfi Team thoroughly enjoyed getting to see all of your adorable dogs. If it weren’t for your participation, it would not have been such a success. The Golfi Team can’t wait to see all your dogs next year for the Bark Madness Contest of 2022.
